Tropical Storm Chantal Impacted Worker & Rapid Response Program

The Town of Chapel Hill’s Economic Development team is partnering with Capital Area Workforce Development to connect local employees affected by the storm to workforce experts who can support them in many ways – including connections to employment opportunities.

What: Impacted Worker & Rapid Response Program
Where: Chapel Hill Public Library, Meeting Room B
When: Monday, July 21
9:30am – 11:00am session
3:00pm – 4:30pm session

At this free event, affected employees can expect:

▪ Information about unemployment benefits
▪ Education and training opportunities
▪ Help searching for jobs

An NCWorks Mobile Unit will also be outside the library from 9am to 4pm with additional resources and help registering on NCWorks.gov, creating a resume, and researching available jobs.

Employers affected by the storm are also encouraged to attend.
