Anthony Wright picked up a guitar at age five and never really put it down. Raised on a mix of Texas blues, classic rock, Southern anthems, and country songwriters, he soaked in everything from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Townes Van Zandt. By his teens, he was gigging around Texas and eventually formed his own band, cutting his teeth with marathon weekend sets at Blue Bonnet Palace.
Since then, heβs shared stages with legends, released his debut album The Way That I Am, and made it to the semi-finals of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Whether heβs playing solo or with a full band, Anthony brings a gritty, heartfelt energy that sticks with you long after the last note.
