A Caring Pregnancy Center presents our First Steps Parenting Program. First Steps are for everyone! Class topics are focused on both caregiver and child actions, attitudes, and approaches.
Classes are from 12-1:00 pm every Wednesday.
Our in-person clients are asked to make other arrangements for their children. Zoom is available for those who are unable to attend in person.

July 2 - Creating Confidence:
Have you heard that confidence is key? The key to having the ability to see the best version of yourself and to be the best version of yourself. Tune in as we equip you with these powerful tools!
July 9 - Discipline Done Right:
Did you know that correct discipline teaches children to become responsible and have self-control? Come learn some new ideas about old techniques and why proper discipline is vital to children’s whole health.
July 16 - Emotion Coaching:
Emotions are powerful, they are real, and they need to be counted as important. Listen to Dr. John Gottman discuss how relationships affect children and how to control emotions in a productive, healthy way.
July 23 - Entitled to Empowered:
We love it when our children are happy, and we love being able to do for them in ways we didn’t get as kids. But too much of a good thing is never good. We’ll talk about the pitfalls of entitlement and how to empower their childhood with the necessary life skills that will prepare them for a successful future.
July 30 - Course Correct: Whining:
Whyyyyy do they whiiine?? Kids are so smart! As they grow and learn to talk, your toddler learns how to get what they want! But if you give in, it will only get worse! We’ll look at what causes whining and what you can do to stop it!
