An evening of poetry and spoken word celebrating some of the many languages being spoken and learned in Canberra!
FEATURING Manoj Regmi. Living in Canberra since 2019, Manoj writes in both English and Nepali and has had some of his work published online in Nepal. This is his first performance at Smithβs, and he will share with us several of his poems about life, love, longing and nature.
Why not sign up for a spot in an OPEN MIC segment? No experience required - only the willingness to perform in a language other than English, or a mix of English and non-English. Whether you are a fluent speaker or have a smattering of another language, we invite you to share your words with us.
