Feel confident on the ice, and have fun doing it at our popular $13 Beginners Lesson Sessions! Join us on Sundays from 12.45 - 1.45pm. No booking required and includes skate hire!
Great for beginner skaters who wish to learn some of the basics of how to ice skate on a quieter public session with extra staff on ice to assist.
*Sundays in Term 3, sessions run 12.45 - 1.45pm from Sunday 20 July until Sunday 14 September. ** excludes Sunday 27 July & 17 August, no sessions on these dates.

Helmets can be hired free of charge or bring your own bicycle helmet from home to wear on the ice! All skaters must wear a helmet when on the ice.
All ages and abilities welcome to these sessions. These sessions make for a great time to practice on quieter ice with the lights on and you can do your own thing or participate in the casual beginner lesson. We encourage parents to join in with younger children especially children under 5 years. Session suitable for ages 4+years.
These session are "lower sensory" sessions, with no disco or moving lights and background music.
$9 Skate Helper Frames available to hire to assist, these are discouraged from being used in the lesson but you're welcome to hire them for before and after the lesson or if not taking part in the lesson.
No need to book for these sessions, you can pay on arrival.
We recommend wearing warm clothing, gloves and warm hats encouraged.
