Join is for a hands-on cheesemaking experience where you’ll learn how to craft fresh mozzarella and creamy burrata from scratch! Whether you’re a cheese lover, home cook, or just curious about the cheesemaking process, this class will guide you step-by-step through transforming simple milk into rich, silky cheese.We’ll begin by discussing the science behind cheesemaking—how milk turns into cheese—and I’ll explain the pros and cons of different milk types. You’ll learn the traditional technique of heating and stretching curds to create fresh, tender mozzarella. We’ll cover texture, temperature, and timing to ensure you get that perfect stretch every time. Then we will take your mozzarella to the next level by learning how to turn it into BURRATA!—a delicate cheese pouch filled with stracciatella (shredded mozzarella and cream). We’ll show you how to create this luxurious filling and properly seal the mozzarella casing. We’ll also teach you how to use your leftover whey so nothing goes to waste!
You will leave class with fresh mozzarella and burrata you made in class, recipes and resource guide for home cheesemaking, & confidence to start making cheese in your own kitchen.
