What's it like to serve with adaptive scuba divers?

Please join us for our Scubadillo meeting, Thursday, June 5 at our NEW LOCATION: Ford's Garage, off the Dallas North Tollway and Parker in Plano.

Bjorn Loftis will discuss his activities in the Adaptive Scuba program, featuring models that bring adaptive and able-bodied people together to enjoy our favorite sport.

Bjorn has been a scuba instructor since 2014 and an SDI Scubability instructor since 2019, teaching disabled divers for several organizations in the Midwest and Southwest. He says the work with this community is some of the most inspiring he's ever experienced.

He also teaches technical diving throughout the U.S. and Caribbean. A software engineer, Bjorn additionally volunteers as a support diver with International Underwater Cave Rescue and Recovery.

Meeting details
Our meeting begins at 7 p.m. If your schedule permits, please come for the social/dinner hour around 6 p.m. Get there a little earlier to take advantage of Ford's happy hour on food and drinks. HH ends at 6 p.m.
