Limber for Labor (online or onsite)

Managing labor comes with four components: Balanced mind, body, baby, breath
The NewLife Center team will work through stretching positions that facilitate your baby into position for labor and positive birth affirmations to prepare your mindset. You will receive handouts with 2 different circuits with 7-10 stretching positions to use throughout the weeks leading up to birth.
Balanced Mind:
You can balance your mind by relinquishing the fears you hold, encouraging oxytocin to flow readily through your body to reduce your perceptions of pain.
Balanced Body:
Stretching throughout your pregnancy can help relieve muscle/ligament tension throughout your body to provide more comfort to you now, as well as make more room for baby in your pelvis.
Balanced Baby:
Baby's job is being in an optimal position, and you can guide your baby here through gentle stretching and good posture.
Balanced Breath:
Focused breathing brings oxygen to your mind and muscles, keeping you focused on pain management as well as pelvic floor and ligaments lengthened and relaxed for baby to move through with ease.
*Be sure to register 48-72 hours before class to ensure you receive an email with important class information*
