The Children's Bookshow Autumn tour of live literature events is coming to Bristol!
The Children's Bookshow is a charity that inspires children with a love of reading. We introduce children to world-class authors and illustrators through our programme of theatre events and in-school workshops.
Come and see award winning poet Matt Goodfellow at Bristol Old Vic.
Matt Goodfellow is on a mission to demystify poetry and show children its power to make sense of the world. During the hour Matt will discuss his journey to becoming a poet and perform a variety of poems. He will talk about and read extracts from his book The Final Year, and there will be time for questions from the audience too. Matt's passion for poetry and 'rebel writing' and his conviction that everyone's voice matters wherever they are from will shine through in this inspirational performance!
