Music at Lauriston Castle to celebrate 900 years of Edinburgh.
Due to popular demand, our free music events promoting local singers-songwriters, bands, and music acts are coming back to our local parks.
Join us for an afternoon of musical tunes. From classical to folk and trad to more groovy tunes, you can expect different music genres to meet on stage as you enjoy great local bands.
The Lauriston Castle programme includes:
1pm - Marianne McGregor: ‘Best Vocalist’ at the Scottish Jazz Awards 2023
1.45pm - Giulia Drummond & Mario Caribé: From Brazil to Scotland: Giulia Drummond and Mario Caribé get together to explore the deep enchantment of Brazilian/Latin American music - past and present.
2.15pm - SCEViP: Stephanos Constandinou’s solo project blending electric violin and live-looping to create rich, layered soundscapes.
3pm - Alma: a musical act of original music and covers with the earthy, beautiful sounds of strings, flute, and percussions.
