🚲 Inaugural Red, Bike & Greenway AOC Ride
🗓️ Saturday, July 19 | ⏰ 10:00 AM
📍 Starting at Blatz Pavilion, Lincoln Park
🎉 FREE | Open to all riders
Join us for the first-ever Red, Bike & Greenway AOC Ride, hosted by the Milwaukee Estuary Community Advisory Committee (CAC) in partnership with Red, Bike and Green, with support from Restoring Lands, Urban Ecology Center, and Milwaukee County Parks.
This 2-hour community ride will follow the Oak Leaf Trail along the Milwaukee River Greenway, stopping at key locations to highlight ongoing Area of Concern (AOC) restoration efforts.
Riders will learn about local restoration efforts, including toxic sediment removal, fish passage improvements, and habitat restoration, and how these projects aim to improve the health of our waterways and surrounding communities.
This ride is an opportunity to connect with the land, learn about the AOC, and reflect on our shared responsibility to protect and restore our natural resources.
Riders are encouraged to register in advanced at https://forms.gle/c9VmVyz7cmXMK2Vj6.
