Tuesday Shim Sham, Lindy, Charleston Crash Course

A special Tuesday Night Swing Crash Course for people who love old school swing dancing. No partner necessary. Instructor Wesley Boz.

DOORS OPEN AT 6:15 PM to register. Register at the door. No online registration.

6:30 - 7:15 PM: SHIM SHAM SHIMMY LINE DANCE (no prior swing experience for this class). Learn the popular tap swing line dance that is done all over the world at lindy hop dances.

7:15 - 8:15 PM: SIDE BY SIDE CHARLESTONS. (Knowing some foundation 6 & 8 count swing is recommended but not mandatory to join this class). Add some easy Charleston kicking patterns to your east coast swing or lindy hop dancing in this hour.

8:15 - 9:15 PM: ADVANCED BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE LINDY HOP SOCIAL MOVES. (Knowing your 8 count lindy hop basics will be needed to join this class).

In this hour, we'll put together a choreographed - 32 beat dance sequence. Easy, leadable moves you can use on the social dance floor.
