A PADDLE-TRIP/TRAIL LOOP - (paddled 12-23-21) - (approx lake level 1015 (ft msl)
Put-In - Take-Out: - https://www.lcra.org/parks/cedar-point/
Cedar Point Recreation Area 545 Ranch Road 3014, Tow, Texas 78672. Paddle across from put-in (North Lake Buchanan) - (south shoreline) to Apple Orchard Slough then paddling up along north shoreline, past Canyon of the Eagles Nature Park and continuing upriver to the Falls. Lake/River, looping back to Put-In.

LIFE JACKET - WHISTLE (Required by law) - (a whistle is required on the Texas Gulf Coast but not sure if required here, but I Always take one out with me attached to my life jacket

DRY BAGS - (for your electronics and other water sensitive items) -
FIRST AID KIT -
ENOUGH LIQUID and HIGH PROTEIN/CARBOHYDRATE SNACKS -
TIE LINE -(minimum length should be twice the length of your kayak) - (can be used for different purposes including tying up forward or aft with other kayaks if a paddle assist is needed) -
SPARE PADDLE - PADDLE LEASH - THY/KNEE STRAPS (for sit-on-tops) - EXTRA PADDING FOR YOUR SEAT (HELPS ON LONGER TRIPS) - GLOVES - WARM CLOTHING - WET SUIT ( 2 MM PADDLE WET SUIT SHORTY/FULL LEG ware as base in combination with quick dry outer wear to keep the old core warm) OR just warm clothing, quick dry if possible) - KAYAK REPAIR/PATCH MATERIAL (at the minimum gray guerrilla waterproof tape) - MAP/CHART (protector/holder) - DECK MOUNTED COMPASS
