Intro to Trail Work at Round Lake State Park

Join Friends of Scotchman Peaks Wilderness for an Intro to Trail Work session. This is geared toward folks who are curious about the tools we use and who would like to learn more about how a typical trail work day out with FSPW goes. You’ll learn the fundamentals of maintaining and building sustainable trails with traditional hand tools.

Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this hands-on workshop led by our experienced trail staff will cover essential tools, techniques, and best practices to help preserve our natural landscapes.

Session will run from 9-11 am on August 3 at Round Lake State Park - free, but sign up required through the ticket link.
