Get parade-ready with this fun, hands-on creative workshop just for kids!
Led by local artist Deirdre Patwell, children will become part of Bandon’s very own Creative Army — preparing to march in style for the “Bandon Through the Ages” Parade on Family Fun Day.

🎨 What they’ll do:

Paint their own custom stencilled crest on fabric

Create lightweight historical-style body armour

Practice marching and movement for the parade

Explore teamwork, creativity, and Bandon’s heritage through play

This is the perfect mix of art, imagination, and local pride, and a great way to help young festival-goers feel part of the action.

🧒🎉 All materials provided. Children must be accompanied for drop-off and pick-up.

👑 Don’t forget: Kids from this workshop are invited to take part in Sunday’s Heritage Parade dressed in their creations!
