2025 Annual SACS Walk/Rally

The Annual SACS Walk/Rally will be held on Friday August 1 at Evans-Bosshard Park in Sparta, WI beginning at 4PM. Luminaries can be purchased, duck race tickets can be purchased, t-shirts can be purchased as well as Adult and child Bucket raffle tickets can be purchased. There will be a bounce house for the kids, face painting for young and old alike by Tonya from The Edge. There will be golf cart rides available to view the luminaries. The golf carts are being provided by Davey's Golf Cart Sales. The opening ceremony will kick off at 6PM with the VFW/Legion Color Guard, National Anthem, and Invocation. The 2025 honorees Charles Weaver-veteran, Priscilla Hemmersbach -female, Chad Brueggeman-male, Joanie Schauf-Leis -young adult and Paul & Kay Foulke -couple. Kicking Cancer to the Curb will take place at different locations in Sparta during the afternoon and early evening. The duck race will take place at 7pm in Beaver Creek. The Children's Bucket Raffle drawing will start at 7:45PM, the 1st drawing for the Calendar raffle of $500 will take place at 8PM and the Adult Bucket Raffle drawing will start at 8:15PM. The Luminary Ceremony will start at 9PM. The Pizza Party will start at 10PM. Money raised from this event stays in the community to help people affected by cancer in the service area with a small portion going for local cancer research at Gundersen and Mayo.
