Douglas Summer Social at the History Center

Bring a lawn chair and come out to the Douglas Summer Social on Thursday at the History Center! All are welcome to this free, family-friendly, outdoor event held in the gardens at the History Center in Douglas, 130 Center Street on Thursday, July 24th from 5:30-8:30 PM.

Come out to socialize and enjoy music by singer and multi-instrumentalist, Michael Hulett. Unity on the Lakeshore and Douglas United Church of Christ will be providing food. Saugatuck Brewing Company beer and wine will be available for purchase from the SDHC.

The History Center will be open during the event to explore Lakeshore art and history. Artists from the Saugatuck-Douglas Art Club will also be set up in the Back-in-Time Gardens.

Originally organized by the Douglas DDA, the Douglas Summer Social has been a popular community event for many years and the History Center is pleased to again host this event along with Unity on the Lakeshore and Douglas United Church of Christ, Community partners include Saugatuck Brewing Company.

This event will be held rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
