Early Stage Social Engagement Program: 6 Week Series

The Alzheimer’s Association® Early-Stage Social Engagement programs provide opportunities for individuals living with early stage Alzheimer’s or other dementia to interact through group
activities in a community setting. Enjoy the company of others through planned social events.

In partnership with The Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine (JCA), we are offering another 6-week series, free of charge, for those who are experiencing cognitive impairment or early-stage dementia. This is an opportunity to socialize, meet new or old friends, and engage with a variety of table activity options. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Family members, caregivers, or friends are also welcome. A screening process conducted by the Alzheimer’s Association Helpline will be provided to ensure appropriate placement for potential participants who would like to register for this new
series.

When: Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., July 17 - August 21.
