IN CASE OF RAIN:
In the event of rain or an approaching storm, the performance will be delayed by 15 minutes. If the weather clears up, the performance will continue as planned. If the weather does not improve, we will cancel the performance. Thank you for understanding!
Music:
From classical strings to mandolin melodies, enjoy live music in unexpected places. Tree-O—a rotating trio featuring cellist Russick Smith, violinist Karen Lauffer, and mandolinist Kevin Larkin—performs half-hour sets from platforms nestled in the pine canopy. Local musicians also bring a variety of genres to the trail, creating a soundscape that blends beautifully with the natural surroundings.
Theatre:
Catch exclusive excerpts from The Great Divide, a new folk-inspired musical exploring the roots of Colorado. Performed live along the trail before its full debut at Breckenridge Backstage Theatre, this original production offers a moving glimpse into the state’s early days.
Guided Hikes:
Slow down and reconnect with the natural world through bilingual mindfulness hikes and forest bathing experiences. Led by mental wellness practitioners, these reflective journeys encourage presence, awareness, and a deeper sense of calm.
Artist Talks:
Go behind the scenes with a series of guided trail talks led by featured BIFA artists. Hear directly from the creators as they walk you through their outdoor installations, sharing the stories, inspirations, and creative processes behind their work.
Co-presented with Breckenridge Backstage Theatre, Building Hope, and local artists
