We’ll explore pristine marshes, winding tidal creeks, out to a protected barrier island on the longest stretch of undeveloped shoreline left on the East Coast. We'll spend time on the beach for swimming, shelling, lunch and bird-watching.
The trip meets at the paddling shop at Onancock Wharf, 2 King St., at 8:30 a.m. From there you will follow us by car to the launch on the seaside.
Cost: $130 each, includes kayak and lunch. $65 for kids under 15 in a tandem with an adult.
