Coping Skills & Self Care Workshop for Kids

In this fun and supportive program, kids will explore simple ways to manage stress and take care of their emotions. Through hands-on activities, they’ll learn healthy coping skills they can use when feeling overwhelmed. Kids will create their own “Stress Catchers” (a calming version of dream catchers) and, for younger children, a “Slow Down Snail” craft that helps them recognize ways to calm their bodies during big emotions. This engaging experience helps build emotional awareness, self-regulation, and confidence in handling tough feelings.
