Wed 8/27, Knitting for Total Newbies with Hilary

Join us for our intro to knitting class. In this class, you will learn how to knit, purl, cast on and blind off with straight needles. After getting a bit of practice in on some practive yarn- you'll start making your own project which can become fingerless gloves, a cup cozy, a washcloth or a soap keeper. This class will get you comfortable with the basics and show you tips and tricks along the way to flat knitting more after class. You can tackle scarves, hats and maybe even a sweater! Class includes all supplies- yarn will be available in a variety of fair aisle print colors and you will leave class with a pair of needles to keep knitting at home.
