Trinity Family Service Project - Feed My Starving Children

When: Saturday, August 9
Where: Feed My Starving Children
742 East Park Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048
Time: Depart Trinity at 10:15am (carpool)
Arrival: 11:10a
Orientation (required) begins at 11:15a
Serve: From 11:30-1:15 (packing food kits)
Lunch: Lunch at Culver’s following serve time (bring lunch $)
Return: Return to Trinity by 3:30pm
Cost: None (*other than for lunch*), but you are welcome to
make a donation to FMSC to help with the cost of packing
and shipping food. (Donations are not required.)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*Age minimum: 5 years old. Those 17 years and younger must be
accompanied by an adult.
*Attire: Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes.
NO jewelry may be worn in the packing room.
*Special Needs: FMSC offers sit-down jobs for volunteers,
and the site is handicap accessible.
Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) believes hope starts with food. As a Christian nonprofit, FMSC is dedicated to seeing every child whole in body and spirit. FMSC works with food distribution partners that stay with communities for the long haul, empowering them to move from relief to development. Last year FMSC provided over 368 million meals to partners enabling more than 1 million kids to be fed a meal per day for a year.
