Bees, Butterflies & Blooms: Pollinator Festival

Buzz and flutter around Marshbank Park to learn about the importance of our pollinators and what you can do to help these critters that are so important to our earth. There’s something for all ages. Live butterfly displays and interactions are a special attraction!

Numerous hands-on activity stations will include:

Monarch tagging with butterfly release
Free face painting
Beeswax craft
Sweep netting to look for our native pollinators
Interactive talks with Bees in the D (bring a blanket to sit on)
North Oakland Wild Ones – native seedling giveaway and live caterpillar displays
Free native seeds giveaway
Photo ops
