Try on a Yukata and Walk Around!

A yukata is a simple kimono for summer season.
Are you interested in putting on a yukata with the help of volunteers?
If you don’t have a yukata, we can rent you one for 500 yen.
The number and sizes of yukata are limited, and the first-come-first-served basis from 10:00 a.m.
After you are set and make your own fan (uchiwa) with origami, let’s enjoy walking around the Sousei River (Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade if it rains) with volunteers!
Date: Sunday, July 27, 10:00 a.m. - noon
Venue: Sapporo International Communication Plaza Foundation (MN Bldg. 3F, Kita 1 Nishi 3-3)
Target participants: Foreign nationals (Children OK）
Capacity: About 20 women and 6 men
Fee: 500 yen as cleaning fee
* We can dress you up for free if you bring your own yukata.
* Please come wearing T-shirt, and short pants or leggings.
* Sandals look good with a yukata.
