MENTORS WANTED
Caleb, the Youth Engagement Officer for the GEM (Gippsland Engaged Mentoring) Program in the East Gippsland will be at Orbost Neighbourhood House on Tuesday the 29th at 11.00.
The program helps support vulnerable young people in our community that are disengaging from the education system and/or looking at entering the youth justice system through the help of volunteer mentors to spend one hour a week with them doing an activity with them of their choice.
This program has made a huge difference in the young people that have come through and we are in need of new volunteers to help mentor the next generation. If you or anyone you know would like to become a mentor, please feel free to contact Caleb.
The GEM program has proudly been helping and supporting young people in the East Gippsland community for over 20 years!!
