AKC Nanga Camp, September 6th
The annual Naga Challenge adventure race will now become the annual AKC Nanga Camp. At a club meeting on Saturday 24th May, the status of the adventure race was presented and a discussion was held about best way forward. The adventure race has been attracting very few Ascot members and it has been held together by extensive marketing to mountain bike clubs.
The alternative favoured by the meeting was an annual AKC Nanga Camp. There has since been a satisfaction survey which also supports the camp option.
This yearβs camp will be on the weekend of September 5th. Participants are invited to book their site at the Dept of Parks and Wildlife link in this Webscorer link: https://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=394652
Note this is a social event which is open to anybody. Participants will participate at their own risk. It is possible to cancel later for a modest fee and it is possible to add people to your booking. You can also register a plan for a day visit. The Webscorer will record who is going to the camp for everybody to see
