Marine Photography with Paul Naylor

Fish that build nests, crabs which decorate themselves and sea slugs that recycle weapons sound exotic, but they are found right here in South Devon. Even creatures we think of as ‘simple’ like limpets and sea anemones have surprising tricks up their sleeves!

Marine biologist Paul Naylor will tell their stories through his underwater photographs and video clips, including the fish that he recognises individually from their fingerprint-like patterns; and show the life you can see while snorkelling, or even on the shore without getting wet!

Paul likes to share his fascination with as wide an audience as possible; he is author of ‘Great British Marine Animals’ and his footage has appeared on the BBC’s One Show, Blue Planet UK, Countryfile and Autumnwatch.
