Our Summer Holiday Camp provisions can be part of your child's summer of fun to ensure they have an active and enjoyable summer whilst creating some precious memories! Book with us and you can expect an explosion of fun science, providing amazing experiences; such that your child will want to come back for more!
We've got new venues this summer holidays so there will be a choice of venues each week for you to choose the most convenient one.
We are confident our stimulating, fun-filled activities will provide your children with an unforgettable, positive experience. Our camps will not only help take some of the pressure off parents/carers during the school holidays but they’ll also help to enable your children to build their confidence, self-esteem and make new friends.
What will we do at the Science Camp?
We will provide a different theme each day from the following:
WACKY WEATHER
How can we predict the weather when it changes so often? What is climate change? From a storm in a bottle, erupting volcanoes and devastating earthquakes to floods and fire tornadoes. Prepare to be blown away, with this interactive day about the world’s wonderful weather!
PREHISTORIC LIFE
What was life like of Earth millions of years ago? Journey through the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous period, excavating dinosaurs, uncovering fossils and exploring ancient animals. Come and find out who ruled the Earth for millions of years!
MAD ABOUT MINIBEASTS
Creepy crawlies might make you wriggle and squirm, but we think they’re amazing! Discover how our world depends on these unique creatures and find out what insects live on our doorstep on the big bug hunt!
GEO-LOGIC
Time to rock out! Uncover the cause of earthquakes, natural faults in the Earth’s crust and even how mountains and volcanoes are formed. Explore the formation of rocks and minerals and even grow your own crystals!
TIME-TRAVELLING TRANSPORT
Technology is leading the way in developing new forms of transport to travel across land, water and air. From horse drawn carts, steam powered boats and hot air balloons to combustion engines in cars, hovercrafts and aeroplanes! Explore the science behind each mode of transport and make a car, a boat and a plane to take home!
Every week and venue will do the same activities, just in a slightly different different order. Take a look at the website for more details.
