Echo Well Soundscape Sanctuary
'Careful listening is more important than making sounds happen' - Alvin Lucie.
Step into a sanctuary of sound and experience the immersive world of sacred sounds at this concert-based soundscape in the stunning space of The Harbour Chapel in historic Dunbar. The sounds of mantras in Sanskrit, gongs, shruti box and other meditative instruments will blend and echo into a journey beyond time.
You are invited to step into a space where you can flourish through the power of therapeutic sound. There will be an optional interactive opportunity to learn a simple Sankrit mantra for peace that can be chanted together as part of the soundscape for those who wish to. You may prefer to chant internally, listen or meditate on/for peace.
About the practitioner: Melissa Bradd formally trained as a therapeutic sound practitioner 2011-2013 after completing a BMus (HONS) Degree in 2008. Sanskrit mantras captivated her most of all during her sound training leading her to undertake traditional studies since 2016.
