PAA RIKTIGT
The two songwriters Brita Lodmark Wallner (SE) and Solvej Ask (DK), as well as bassist/singer Anna Krantz (SE) invite you into a universe that is low-fi, organic and pointed. In Swedish and Danish, with the joy of storytelling and the interest in the strange and pivotal moments in common. They take on the fact of being assigned an existence in our age through themes such as identity, gender, everyday fear, love and community. With the traditional Swedish poet's textual presence, added a penchant for dissolute voices and funky bass lines.
ROBIN JAY-BARD
I come from Oxford, England and make original music inspired by the folk music of the British Isles. Some of my inspirations include John Martyn, Nick Drake and Joni Mitchel.
For this show I'm going to be showcasing some of my latest material as well as some of my already released music which is available on Spotify and the other streaming platforms. If you'd like to find my music it is available right here: https://robinjay.bandcamp.com/track/yellow-leaves

I've been living in Montréal, Canada since September and have slowly been finding my feet here in the music scene. I play a regular slot in Mile End every Thursday, as well as already having played at Quai Des Brumes, La Marche á Côte and Casa Del Popolo.
In my last project in the England, Catgod, I played guitar and sang with my sister and three good friends. Having had national radio coverage and playing major music festivals I left the UK in 2022 to travel and make more solo concerts. You can find Catgod's music here (which I wrote the lyrics and music for): http://catgod.bandcamp.com
I spent a few years in Scandinavia and learnt Musical Theatre for a year in Copenhagen, Denmark and studied Contemporary dance in Island. I feel very lucky to be playing my first concert on my Danish Tour at Mellem Rummet.
