FREE ENTRY in the beer garden from 5pm till 10pm
Dj O.P.1 is a turntablist, party rocker and beat maker whose roots are in hiphop but is never shy of digging into a crate of any genre. If it’s good music he’ll play it. Over his career, he’s dj’d up and down the country, supporting lots of big names including Grandmaster Flash, Pharoah Monch, R.A the Rugged Man, Lowkey, Jaguar Skillz, The Nextmen, Dom Letts, Goldie Looking Chain. As well as being the DJ for Leeds rapper ExP and Flash Peasants he’s also a member of Jamettone, a collective of musicians, providing live scratches and samples for improvised jazz sessions. He’s featured several times on BBC’s Introducing, has a regular show on Golddust Radio and is a regular fixture at venues, shows and festivals up and down the country. As well as ‘In real life’ gigs, he’s a regular streamer on Twitch, where he’ll take you on a musical journey through genres each show. ‘The dj you didn’t know you needed to know’
