Are You Ready to Quit Smoking?
Our aim at First Person Project is to build and uplift happy, healthy communities and part of this strategy includes responding to tobacco related harm.
Smoking is significantly associated with mental health conditions, and people with mental health issues are more likely to smoke and find it harder to quit.
This service is not a ‘guilt trip’ or to make you feel bad in any way, the focus is solely on improving individual and community wellbeing.
If you are interested in learning more about how to stop smoking then we would love to welcome you to our workshop to find out more about how we can help.
We will be at the FPP Hub on Lodge Lane, Toxteth on Wednesday 30th July between 10-12.
We can offer some information around smoking and the process of cutting down and giving up and our team will be available to answer any questions and just to chat about smoking in general.
We will be able to offer Co2 and blood pressure readings and any information you need about signing up and getting your free vape.
We want you to let us know what type of support you would like through this process and it’s a chance to have a brew and a chat with other people who are working towards the same goal of becoming smoke free.
Studies show that smokers with strong social support are more likely to quit successfully so come along for a chat and let’s do this together!
Any questions please get in touch via the website or message us through this page.
