Join us at the Opening Ceremonies for BEX 2025 at Friday in the Park Dance Day on Friday, July 25!

7th Annual BEX Art Festival creators along with the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce and our community will gather at 11:30am for a “Creative” Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Open BEX 2025!

Mosaic mural artist Sharol Batey assisted by Sean Pettrey will be recognized and available for a Meet and Greet the Artist during the Friday in the Park. This mural was commissioned by BEX Arts and funded by the WV Department of Arts, Culture and History, The National Endowment for the Arts and the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce.

4 dancing groups will perform for 15 to 20 minutes during Fridays in Park

11:40 to 11:56 – Mercer County CASE Senior Line Dancers

12:00 – 12:16 – Raleigh County Commission on Aging Line Dancers

12:20 – 12:38 – Daniels / Shady Springs Seniors with Beckley Art Center Line Dancers

12:42 – 1:00 – Just for Fun Line Dancers
