Come have fun at the library making cool crafts to enter in the Stirling Agricultural Fair! We’ll use paint, glue, glitter, and more to create awesome art you can be proud of. You might even win a ribbon at the fair! This year’s fair theme is Sunflowers and Sunshine.
Each week we’ll focus on making a different craft that can be entered into the fair. Each person can enter multiple crafts so long as they are from different categories, so come back each week for more chances to win! For ages 14 and under. No registration required to attend at the library but registration is required to enter crafts into the fair which library staff can assist with.
July 2nd: finger painting “Sunflower”
July 9th: painted rock using theme
July 16th: Sun made with Popsicle sticks or paper quilt square
July 23rd: straw blowing painting
July 30th: a sunflower made with tissue paper or a sunflower made with pipe cleaners and beads
August 6th: sunflower made with a paper plate or homemade wreath with a summer theme
August 13th: yarn bracelet or handmade piece of jewelry
