Grab your buckets and shovels and head to the beach! The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau invites creative teams of all ages to compete in the Sandsational Sculpture Showdown on Monday, July 28th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays.
Whether you're a seasoned sculptor or just love playing in the sand, this fun-filled event is your chance to create a masterpiece in the sand and enjoy a summer afternoon at the ocean. Registration begins at 1:00 PM, and the contest kicks off promptly at 2:00 PM.
Admission is just $25 per team (up to six people), and the event is open to participants of all ages. The first 100 contestants will receive a free sandcastle kit and t-shirt decorating activity—so come early!
Judging will wrap up with awards for first, second, and third place at 4:30 PM. After the contest, stick around for even more summer fun with a live beach concert by Foreign Journey band at 6:00 PM.
