Anyone interested in learning the basics of deer hunting are encouraged to attend a free class on Wednesday July 23, from 6pm-8pm at the Wildlife District Two office in Findlay (952 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840).

Instructors will cover how to safely and effectively harvest deer this upcoming season! Topics will include rules and regulations, hunting techniques, and equipment.

The class is ideal for anyone looking to start deer hunting and will be the first of a series of 3 classes. The additional classes will take place in the coming months and include hunting implements for deer hunting as well as scouting/stand placement in the field. Individuals 18 years of age and older attending these classes may have the opportunity to register for a special mentored hunt that will take place in early October.
