Designed for guests who want to take their stand up paddleboarding (SUP) to the next level, this multi-session course, led by American Canoe Assocation certified instructors, will review the foundations of SUP on a flatwater venue as well as challenge you to increase your comfort moving on the board with advanced moves like moving pivot turns and bracing. You’ll learn advanced paddle techniques (including cross nose draw, draw to nose, & sideslip), rescues, and trip planning skills to prepare you to paddle on Lake Erie. Previous SUP experience is required. This 3-part series Meets: Wednesday, August 20 at Wallace Lake, August 27 at Emerald Necklace Marina, and September 3 at Wendy Park.
