Take Flight This Summer at Drone Flight School Camp!
Ready to learn how to fly real drones and master the skies? Join us for Drone Flight School Camp—a high-energy, hands-on program designed for students ages K-12th grade! Over two weeks, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10AM - Noon, you’ll go from beginner to confident pilot as you explore the exciting world of unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
Each session includes live flight training, obstacle courses, and real-world missions like search-and-rescue simulations and aerial photography challenges. You’ll learn drone safety, flight controls, teamwork, and how drones are used in careers from filmmaking to agriculture. You’ll get to fly under the guidance of experienced instructors.
No experience needed—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to take flight. Space is limited, so sign up now and let’s launch into something amazing!
👉 Location: Thorn Hill Education Center, 700 Leslie Ave, Frankfort, KY 40601
👉 Dates: July 22nd & 24th and July 29th & 31st
👉 Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10AM-Noon
👉 Ages: K-12th Grade
👉 Cost: $40 to cover the cost of T-Shirts and materials
👉 Class Size: This class will be limited to 15 students
