Edge of Eternities Commander Box Tournament

At the edge of the Multiverse, a star system teeters on the brink of disaster. Chart a course through Sothera and explore distant planets and wield dazzling magic. Be careful though! You’ll need to watch out for the unstable supervoid at the center of the system—unless you choose to harness the chaotic energies within!

The Branson Dragon will be hosting a Commander Box Tournament for Magic the Gathering’s newest set, Edge of Eternities, on July 27th at 2 PM. Commander Box events bring the limited vibes to commander with creating a 60-card Commander deck from the contents of a Play Booster box. (The prize of this event is a Bhujerba, Floating City (City of Brass) not a Play Booster Box.)

You can preorder a Play Booster Box and we will hold it for you until the event. Edge of Eternities preorders are limited per person so check with staff in store about preorder limits. The Commander Box Tournament is limited to 16 people.

Commander Box Tournament Details:
- Commander Sealed - You can include anything you open inside your Play Booster box, including the Box Topper, but not any promos you receive such as the Buy-a-Box Promo
- Play any legal commander you open, then fill your deck with cards of any color. This means that you ignore the color identity rule in deck building. The color identity of your commander(s) still applies to cards like Arcane Signet to explicitly refer to color identity.
- Your deck can include up to 4 copies of cards you open with the same name.
- Use any number of basic lands from our land station.
- Games are played in pods of three to four players with normal Commander rules. You start at 40 life, track commander damage, and so on.

Prize: First place will receive a Bhujerba, Floating City (City of Brass).

Other prizes are based on participation.
