This summer, join in the celebration of the Rogers Historical Museum’s 50th anniversary by traveling back to when the museum first opened in 1975 to make some of the decade’s most iconic crafts.
Come learn about the popular craft of shrinking plastic! Made famous in the 1970s by the Shrinky Dinks© brand, these art creations using special sheets of plastic that shrink when heated have entertained generations ever since. Transform your own colorful drawing design into a unique shrunken plastic embellishment that can be used to make a charm or suncatcher.
Sessions begin each day at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. Recommended for ages 6-12.
