Climate Action Plan Community Meeting - Library

The City of Beloit is taking steps toward a more sustainable future — and your voice matters. Community members are invited to attend one of two upcoming meetings to learn about Beloit’s Climate Action Plan process, review current information and progress, share ideas, and help guide the city’s efforts to address climate change.

The Climate Action Plan will serve as a roadmap for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, promoting resilience, and addressing climate impacts.

Community Meeting Dates:
• Wednesday, July 30 at 6pm
Beloit Public Library, 605 Eclipse Blvd.
• Thursday, August 7 at 6pm
Department of Public Works’ Water Resources and Engineering Facility, 2400 Springbrook Court

These meetings are open to all Beloit residents, business owners, and stakeholders who want to be part of shaping Beloit’s Climate Action Plan.

Can’t make the meetings? There are other opportunities for public input:
• Survey: Extended to August 10, 2025, for additional participation opportunities.
• Diary 2040 – Climate Futures Story Telling Project: Share your hopes, ideas, and dreams for a sustainable Beloit through the Climate Futures Storytelling Project.
