Sunday 11am Service: "The Longest Journey of Our Lives"

The sermon this Sunday will be a reflection on the role of parents. Our task as parents is to help prepare our children to stand on their own two feet. Our task as parents is to help our children learn to think for themselves, to make their own decisions, hopefully without loading them down with too much of our own baggage. Because the minute they are born, we begin turning loose of them. This is both the good news and the bad news about having children. They grow up! Holding on and letting go. Somehow we must manage to do both. Rev. John Johnson will be our speaker.
