Kickapoo Creek trash cleanup!

Hey everyone! It’s time to get back out for a local trash pickup! We were out collecting samples today and noticed a TREMENDOUS amount of trash on Kickapoo creek rd. Specifically the half mile or so near the Hardee’s in Bartonville on Adams st.
As you first enter Kickapoo creek rd from this side, (that narrow road with the sharp turn under the train tracks) there is a solid half mile of garbage on both sides of an otherwise beautiful road! 🗑️ This trash will inevitably end up in our waterways if we don’t do something about it!
We’ll be meeting at the parking lot across from Hardee’s adjacent to Kickapoo creek rd. We’ll bring trash pickers to use, garbage bags and gloves. Just bring yourselves! Location pictures will be updated soon to help everyone understand the location and issue. See you there!
