"Bit Players" Release Party

Don and The Divorcees album "Bit Players" goes live online on Friday 25 July. But we can't put on a Don and The Divorcees gig for the launch, because one of our fabulous divorcees is in the wrong hemisphere at the moment.
So instead we have, for your edification and amusement, joined forces with the Poneke Shanty Club and Rumours Rum Bar, to bring you an evening of woolly arsed folky fun.
Starting 6:30ish there will be a sing-around session of shanties, trad bangers, and whatever other songs people pull out of their hats lead by highly esteemed members of Poneke Shanty Club.
Around 8:30 Beans and Don will play a selection of songs from the Datd repertoire - some off the album, some new ones (preview of the next album?), and maybe even an oldie or two from the vault.
Then the sing-around can carry on as long as people want it to.
And for the benefit of the more steampunk among you we will have actual CDs on sale - $20 a pop (discounted to $19.99 of you get them autographed ;).
No door charge, but there will be a koha bucket so you can "pay what you thought we were worth" on your way out.
Big thanks the Poneke Shanty Club and Rumours.
