Books in Bars Reading Society

Welcome to the Books in Bars Reading Society.
This is not a book club, nor is it a read-along. It is a gathering of book lovers. Bring any book you want. Others will do the same. We’ll all be reading individually, but together, each person doing their own solo thing in a community of others doing the same solo thing.
There is no required engagement or planned activities. Name tags will not be provided. Some attendees will choose to break off separately and talk about books. Others will come and go without a word. This monthly event is simply an opportunity for book lovers to come together and read in quiet camaraderie.
Blue Stallion has reserved the loft for this gathering, a place of comfortable chairs and sofas and adjustable lighting. Bring your own book or select one from the Blue Stallion free library. Have a book you’d like to pass along to other readers? Feel free to bring it to the event, or even better, take part in the Blue Stallion book swap happening the day prior to the inaugural Books in Bars Reading Society gathering.
