Feast of the Great Prophet Elijah and the Blessing of Vehicles

On July 20th, we celebrate the feast of the great Prophet Elijah, who was taken up into heaven on a firey chariot. On this day it is customary in the Byzantine Tradition to bless vehicles. Bring your cars, vans, trucks, boats, bikes, or whatever takes you from place to place to receive a special blessing on this day.
