Our Water Talks webinar series on hydration continues July 23 with "Water and Survival: A Story from Nature and Evolution to Modern Disease."

Survival is linked with having enough water, food and oxygen. Here we describe a metabolic pathway aimed at conserving water that provides major insights into the cause of obesity.

Speaker:

Dr. Richard J. Johnson is a professor of medicine at the University of Colorado. Johnson is a clinician and a medical scientist who has been internationally recognized for his work on sugar, especially fructose and its product, uric acid; and how they may play a role in obesity and diabetes. He is also an expert on heat stress, hydration and metabolic water.

This webinar is offered at no cost. CEUs are available.
