Join us for a celebration of bees! The Pollinator Party originally ran from 2010-2019 and is finally coming BACK after a short hiatus.
Bees, scientists, beekeepers, educators and many others come together for the Pollinator Party at Lyndale Park Gardens, near the Perennial Garden and the Phelps Fountain (also known as the Turtle Fountain).
Get up close with honeybees!
Learn about honey bees, urban bee keeping and bees native to Minnesota
Discover the wild bees of the park
Kids can earn a cone of ice cream made with honey (adults may purchase!)
Food and beverages available for purchase
Live music performances by Zaq Baker & Corzine, Brass Messengers, plus a DJ
Make pollinator seed bombs with Monarch Joint Venture
Learn about Bee Lawns with Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources
Learn how to help our endangered state bee with the U of MN Pollinator Ambassadors
Make art with folks from the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia)
