Don’t miss the one and only Bo Spring & our fearless leader Clayton Mathis jam it up on the AYC stage for this fine Thursday.
They may swap originals, play some oldies and house faves, or they may sing us some lullabies? The possibilities are endless for this rare and special treat!
Bo Spring earned his guitar and vocal chops playing in Atlanta with blues legends and hosting the infamous Northside Tavern's Monday night open jams. Bo met his wife Lauren while performing with a band opening for Willie Nelson in 2001 at the Classic Center in Athens, GA. After marrying and moving to Florida, they joined forces with upright bass player Randon Hicks and drummer Tim Dutrow to form the Bo Spring Band that you may have seen gigging around the Gulf Coast.
For those who don’t know Clayton Mathis, he hails from South Carolina and met his wife while attending Coastal Carolina University, ultimately following her down to the Forgotten Coast. Songwriting is one of many talents Clayton has acquired in recent times.
